The time and effort required at this stage depends on various factors, including what you have provided us before, the scale and complexity of the project. I have a 3D model that was created by a different company. Can I have a discount?
Yes, absolutely! Still, we would need to examine the model to determine if the optimization of the model is required and if so – to what extent and how much time and effort that would take. We can offer up to 70% discount, as the modeling could be the biggest challenge for the whole project.
How much does it cost?
Cost calculation depends on various factors. We can say how much your virtual tour for real estate would cost after we get all the information we require to estimate the project cost. We take into consideration, mainly, the complexity of the project. If you need high-end results with a lot of details and, more importantly, more 3D objects at the scene, it will lead to a price rise. Keep in mind, that due to the fact, that our virtual tours are game-based, we will need to keep the project as optimized as possible, so we would need to find a common ground together on what you see appropriate. Can I get the photorealistic virtual tour?
Unfortunately, we cannot deliver you a photorealistic virtual tour using the game engine. The problem with that is that we create a game, that runs on the customer’s device and, to ensure seamless work and fast loading time, we need to make the project as optimized as possible, with as few details as possible. Keep in mind, that smaller objects would need less details, and the bigger the objects – the bigger amount of details they would require.
What features can be added to the project?
Anything you can come up with and we can agree upon! Keep in mind, that browser-based applications have their limits, so we would not be able to recreate AAA games. Still, it is possible to add animations, sound, low-quality video, images with your branding (like business cards in our demo project), easter eggs, and else. The only thing games can’t stand the most are mirrors 🥶.
What software do you use to create a project?
We do the modeling in Blender, and then, after the compression and decimation of the model to the scale and weight needed, we import everything to Playcanvas HTML5-based game engine, where we do the coding, final optimizing, build settings, fixing export artifacts and export the build. After that, we either send you the project for self-hosting or offer to host everything on our server and our domain.
How do I use the virtual tour and add it to my website?
After the project is ready we offer either our assistance with downloading the build on your server for self-hosting or to host everything on our server. After that, you will have a link to the executive file, located in the “www” directory of your server. By following this link virtual tour will open and start loading. You can also use <iframe> to add a virtual tour to your website as a frame using any website builder. All of them have the support of custom HTML code.
